Introduction

Congratulations on making it to the end of NURS-FPX9000!

As you wrap up the course, take a moment to reflect on the hard work you have done to solidify your DNP project topic. Now that you have a topic, it’s time to start thinking about your next steps: creating an implementation timeline.

A Note on Signature Assessments

Each Signature Assessment in your DNP program is a critical component of your doctoral project. The Signature Assessments build upon each other as you progress through your doctoral program.

University standards and policies dictate that learners must achieve at least a “Proficient” rating on all grading criteria for every Signature Assessment. If a learner does not demonstrate proficiency in all Signature Assessment criteria, they will not achieve the scholarly excellence competency, will not pass the course (University Policy 3.04.07: Grading [PDF]), and will not be allowed to progress to later stages of the doctoral project (University Policy 3.01.04: Academic Standing [PDF]).

Note: The assessments in this course must be completed in the order presented; subsequent assessments should be built on both your earlier work and your mentor’s feedback on earlier assessments. If you choose to submit assessments prematurely, without considering and integrating your mentor’s feedback, your assessment may be returned ungraded, resulting in your loss of an assessment attempt.
